Change the case style of your text with one click
Paste English text and press one button to convert it into one of eight styles: UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, and the programming styles camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case and kebab-case, shown in the box below. A copy button grabs the result at once. Use it to rename variables and functions to another convention, make headings or lists consistent, or fix text typed with Caps Lock on.
Upper and lower case use the browser's built-in conversion. Title Case lowercases everything, then capitalises the first letter after each word boundary. Sentence case lowercases everything, then capitalises only the first letter of the text and the first letter after a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark followed by whitespace. The four programming styles first split the text into words: between a lowercase letter or digit and a following capital, at underscores and hyphens, and at spaces. Words are then lowercased and joined by each style's rule. For example, 'user id' becomes userId in camelCase, UserId in PascalCase, user_id in snake_case and user-id in kebab-case. 'userID', with consecutive capitals, is split only once at the front, so snake_case gives user_id.
It splits once at the lowercase-to-capital boundary and gives user_id. Consecutive capitals are treated as one chunk.
It capitalises the very start of the text and the first letter after a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark followed by a space or line break. Line breaks without punctuation are not detected.
It follows the browser's default conversion rules and applies no language-specific rules. Check results for languages other than English.
No. Conversion and copying happen entirely in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. Reloading restores the sample text.
